There are numerous websites that allow photo sharing. Here are three I have tried recently. All are free and very easy to use.
Yahoo’s Flickr allows you to upload, organize and share images with friends and family as well as people you don’t know in a photo sharing community. You can also tag your images, albums and slideshows. If you already have a Yahoo account, just log in and access Flickr.
Bubbleshare has similar community sharing capability. However, their coolness factor lies in the ability to add audio to your images. Rudy used Bubbleshare to share photos of Summer, his new baby, on the blog.
While the above sites allow you to share in traditional album and slideshow formats, FilmLoop puts a different spin on presentation and sharing, the loop. A loop is a ticker tape strip of your images that moves across the footer or header of the page. It moves automatically or manually by a slidebar.
You easily add photos to the loop by dragging them into the strip. If you want to change the order, just drag the photos to a new location. Very simple. Here too, in the community spirit, you can choose to make your loops available for public viewing. Other cool features include the ability to insert hyperlinks in each image, add comments and invite others to add to your loop. Each loop allows 200 images.
All three sites allow for incorporation in your blog or website. Brokers and other professionals can easily use these new tools to communicate creatively with prospects and clients. They are also alot of fun.
To see Filmloop in action just click the sidebar “Sellsius Loop” and it will appear on your page. Click a frame and it will take you directly to a post via a deep link.
