50. Blog Marathon: 50 Blog Posts in One Day

start.gif

We wanted post 100 blog posts in one day. Although we may have some extra time on our hands prior to launch, our wives were banging down the door so we had to quit. Let me tell you, it’s not easy writing this many posts in a day. Maybe one of you can hit the 100 blog post in a day milestone.

Enjoy the Marathon!

I came on here looking for something and every time I looked away BANG, there was another post up.

“What the F?” I thought to myself.

Posting marathon. I love it. And it was not 50 posts of crap either. I haven’t read them all (yet) but the ones I have read have been great. Nice work!

Thanks Jay. Thought we’d try something new and see what happens. Believe it or not, we were shooting for 101 but we plum ran out of gas.

Nice marathon. Definitely the best blog marathon I have ever seen. Some pent up energy or was the marathon in honor of a special occasion?

maureen - glad you like the idea. it was just something we thought of one day. we wondered what the reaction might be so we went for it. it’s purely coincidental that today is www.onewebday.org . we’re not that clever you know.

christine - blog a hol ic, blog a hol ic, blog a hol ic - sounds like some thing we would chant at the rangers game :) that reminds me, i have to check when the hockey season starts.

maureen francis - thank you for stopping by. glad you’re enjoying it. that reminds me, i have to add your blog to our favorites list. your doing a nice job blogging on AR. blog on!

    james - thanks :)

Looks like a challenge. I’ll have to see if I can live up to my “most prolific blogger” reputation. But I’ll have to use my blog and not RainCityGuide. Now is my bogey 100 or 101…I got confused there.

Set the target and I’ll ready, aim, fire. I’ve been wanting to update my advices for the changing market anyway.

ardell - if anyone can hit 100 blog posts in a day, we’re sure you can.
let’s make the goal 100 with 101 as a juicy bonus. deal?

How many writers did you have working on it? I challenged Greg of Bloodhoundblog to a side by side.

You set the rules, Rudy. Can I assume “a day” equals 24 hours? We’re looking inot Tues, Wed.or Thurs. Waiting for Greg’s availability. One writer only. I already have appointments for the weekend and Monday, so Tuesday is the first time I can set aside a full 24 hour period.

ardell - both joe and I wrote the posts. surely, if you are a lone blogger, the task may be daunting. how about we set a two person team max for the marathon contest? i think that’s fair. what do you think?

Wow! I can’t even read 50 posts a day! Are you sure you didn’t have some spare posts?

teresa - we have a collection of blog posts in our head. does that count? it just gets to a point where you need to purge the brain. ahhh, it feels good.

chris - thanks. it wasn’t easy. i’m mot sure it’s possible for one person to do 101 in a day. but, we’ll just have to wait and see how ardell and greg do. both are such great writers. it will be news if one or both does it for sure.

Hmmmm, nothing new since the 22nd? Did you go on vacation and had to purge the mind before going? No heavy burdens to carry with you?
