Valentine’s Day is a tough one. Yes, there’s the red roses and chocolate. But that’s so played and predictable. Impress the one you like to press with a handmade token of your love, affection and sense of humor with candy hearts YOU made for HER. Get a Food Color Marker here or here and those chalky hearts here –wait, Necco, the maker of these since the 1860s says they don’t sell blanks (I called and asked). I Googled and could not find a maker. Guess, you’ll just have to sand them down. Now that’s dedication. (Just to be safe, through in some jewelry).
H/T: Mad Evil Scientist.
If you live in a virtual world send these hearts.
Fun, but not quite as tasty.
Sweets For the Bittersweet here.

Very cute! I just finished making labels with my son’s picture on them for his pre-school Valentine cards. I stuck them on the candy heart boxes…he’ll be a hit for sure! Anyway, I know you think the “Roses are Red” poem is a bit played out…but check out MyTechOpinion tomorrow…I have a little treat for you!
We will be there. We love surprises NikNik.
how about writing on the backs of conversation hearts… boring safe generic messages from Necco on one side. The personal stuff from you on the other…
We had a bag, finished them a couple of days ago… we weren’t even reading what they said.
Good idea Maureen.
