Our second Zillow post was published on February 10, 2006. (seems like only yesterday)
It’s not nice to kick a 200 ton gorilla when he’s down.

Zillow Gets Off Pillow … then goes back to sleep

This, our first Zillow post, was originally published on February 8, 2006. (Interesting to see the first posts on their launch. Betcha there was a lot of the Kelley Blue Book marketing spin -that didn’t last.).

At long last the sleeping giant awoke, but apparently dozed off again.

Flashback: Blogging Marathon: 50 Posts in 1 Day

It was just a wacky idea. Could we post 100 posts in a day– 50 each? Yeah, why not…just make ‘em short. We burned out at 50. We wondered if anyone could hit 100. Little did we know 2 bloggers would try it.
Here was the final post that 50 [...]

Sellsius Flashback: The 101 Blog Post Challenge

Those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end. The date: September 22, 2006.

It seems that we have two contestants thus far Robin:
1. Ardell DellaLoggia of SearchingSeattleblog who says – I’m not just pussyfooting around this time, Batman!
2. Greg Swan of Bloodhound Blog who says – Wait til they getta loada me.
You [...]

The Blogging Record Still Stands: 102 Posts in 1 Day

The record for blog posts written in a 24 hour period is 102. It was set September 27, 2006 by Ardell DellaLoggia and Greg Swann (yes, that Greg Swann). It was a great day because the entire (tiny) real estate blogosphere was part of it. Are you old enough to remember? I [...]

The Birth of Unzillowable

I coined the term unzillowable in this post on August 13, 2006 and described it the next day in this post. The first real estate listing to use the word was by Jay Thompson in Arizona.

Unzillowable, adjective (un zil’ o bull): unable to be valued by the popular website zillow.com.
“This state-of-the-art mansion in Texas, [...]

Are You A Blogoholic?

Written on July 2, 2006, we suspected this blogging thing could be dangerous.

Signs of Blogoholism. You know you’re a blogoholic if:
1. You constantly check your stats, technorati rank & links before you eat breakfast and before you go to sleep
2. You work on your next blog post while you’re in the shower, at work, talking [...]
