    Merv,

Boys will be boys was inspired by a post by Christine talking about her son. I too have a son & I got nostalgic reading her post.

As for the Soviet architecture, we really enjoy architecture and alternative housing. We’ve done treehouses, tumbleweed houses, floating houses, cubes, containers, earthships, even converted school buses. Not to mention our fascinating with anything that rotates–homes, apartments, fireplaces. We’ve been wanting to do a post on building as brand—in my head but can’t get it on paper. Plus, we’re “visuals” and like to look at pictures–I guess we’re still kids at heart. Also I have a Russian fetish which caused this post on banyas in NYC
