and he’s still working on it, 34 years later!

The house is an amazing live in sculpture. The man who designed and built this house ( Robert Bruno) was my uncle and if many of you do not know by now he recently passed away. Pictures do not justify the beauty and creativity inside and out of this sculpture. You have to see it with your own eyes and then you will only come to realize that he was a genious.
  • Yes, it is amazing. My condolences on your uncle's passing.
  • Yes I did. Actually, I think I saw pictures of Tiger Woods playing up on that golf course.

    That is amazing, isn't it?

  • Wow. Talk about unusual architecture. I'm not sure about living there though. Having background in architecture, I wouldn't mind seeing the structural drawings for this puppy.

if you want to se some unusual, and at the same time impressive architecture, check out the buildings that are going up in Dubai. It's crazy what they are doing there.

  • Yes, you're right Peter-- Dubai has some interesting buildings-- have you
seen the one with the highest tennis court?

Not finished in the 90's, still working on it. I did move in about 3 months ago, and, if you would like, I could send some newer photos.

  • Hi Robert

Love the house-- quite amazing. Yes, would love to post some new photos.
    Thanks.
  • I wonder if it attracts lightning?
  • If I remember the link one day I will send you equally strange architecture from Korea. Memory serves that it was supposed to be some sort of modern social housing but completely flopped. Last i saw they have just been abandoned.

Perhaps one of your readers may have come across this.

BTW do you just bring a hammer to knock on Robert's door? :)
