weblog

The term “WebLog”, a log of the web, was coined 10 years ago, on December 17, 1997, by Jorn Barger of Robot Wisdom.

What’s a Weblog?

Interestingly, most people who use the term “weblog” are misusing the word as it was originally intended.  Barger used it to chronicle his favorite links found surfing the web.   According to Barger, “A true weblog is a list of URLs you want to list or share.” Grow-a-brain is a good example of a weblog.
