Some Meet-Up.com friends of mine sent me an invitation to the finals of the 2nd Annual DFJ East Coast Venture Contest, a competition where the winner gets $250,000 in seed stage funding to pursue their start-up dreams. Winners from the various Ivy League colleges will vie for the top prize. It should be interesting to see the presentations. Plus, you never know who you’ll meet there.
The event will be held at Columbia Business School in New York City on May 15, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. The finals begin at 12:15.
