Good fences make good neighbors ~ Robert Frost
The Lace Fence, embroidered by Demakersvan, brings art to this atrocious man-made boundary– the link fence.
Like brambles fences are rising rampantly around us.
What would happen if a patch of embroided wire would meet with
and continue as an industrial fence. Hostility versus kindness,
industrial versus craft.

Neighborhoods are defined, in large part, by the quality of their public spaces.
Artist Bruno Taylor thinks public spaces should be more playful. He installed these swings on several London bus stops to cheer folks up … you know, the cloudy Brit weather and all.

The great thing about using classical art in advertising is its familiarity to viewers. The incongruity resulting from the addition of advertising elements only adds to the visual appeal.
