An update: A little birdie tells us that the Capitol Records building in Hollywood, California has received Monument Status for the exterior facade of the building. This is good news because the building, as many have grown love as a unique historic structure, will be preserved. In other news, the building is in fact for sale and the interior may be converted to condos which many are not in favor of.
