This is my second post on the goings-on in Dubai U.A.E., the first being on Skidome, the indoor ski facility in the desert. I don’t know if it’s because Dubai is constantly in the news, with man-made islands shaped like plant life, Michael Jackson’s adoption of the area, or because Donald Trump is investing there, but I feel drawn to the emirate to witness the various manifestations of excessive wealth.
Witness what I think is a beautiful building. This outstanding piece of architecture will be the 50-story Palm Trump International Hotel & Tower. It is supposed to look like a golden palm seed but I think we’d all prefer “Tulip Building”.
The development, being constructed on the “trunk” of Plam Jumeirah island, is on a residential and retail boulevard dubbed the Golden Mile.
Maybe the next Apprentice will get this gig.
