Housevalues.com, RealEstate.com and many other companies market (sell) leads to real estate brokers and agents. But are they worth the cost? Which company’s leads are hot, which are not?
360° Digest had an interesting post on Housevalues and a comment from the Rip-off Report. More than a few NO votes for Housevalues. According to the post, 72-78% of their customer base cancels their subscription. Based on a comment from Christine at NYHouses4Sale, some leads are worth the cost. Every broker must decide for themselves.
We believe brokers, agents and other professionals should not have to pay for leads, at least not much. Sellsius° members will get the opportunity to receive alert requests from consumers without charge. Every listing, every article, every classified or job ad, links back to the member. In addition, Sellsius° Alerts allow consumers to decide how they want to be contacted and what type of information they would like to receive. Consumers may request a professional profile for review before any of their contact info is relayed to the member professional. Better yet, they don’t have to send any personal contact info to the member professional. Just review their profile and call the ones they like. We believe the consumer should decide how they want to be helped. If a consumer contacts you after receiving your profile, this is a hot prospect and not a cold lead.
