Space Hotel Launch Delayed

New Scientist reported yesterday that the launch of an inflatable spacecraft, Genesis I, a prototype for a space hotel, has been delayed. It was to launch June 19th from Dombarovsky, Russia.

The company behind the project, Bigelow Aerospace (Las Vegas, NV), did not say why. Biegelow already owns a chain of hotels on Earth but is obvioulsy aiming higher.

Besides the focus on space tourism, Bigelow hopes the modules will add to knowledge of reproduction in space. Hey, can it be any different than at a Motel 6?
