I had the pleasure of speaking with Craig at the Inman Real Estate Connect NYC. He told me that he would charge a fee to Real Estate Agents to post Rental Properties in NYC, not Sales Properties, but hasn’t decided an exact amount yet. He is still looking for more feedback on this issue and as he mentioned on previous occations, he is thinking of charging up to $10 per listing.
It seems like he has genuine concerns about this issue. I mentioned to him some of the safeguards Sellsius is implementing in trying to prevent these types of problems which have become endemic not only on craigslist but on other free sites as well. He said he would look into it.
