Cybertecture: Architecture Chameleon

Cybertecture, based in Hong Kong, is a futuristic architectural organization headed by Chief Cybertect, James Law. His designs include skinable buildings like the Visual Building in New Town Plaza, Hong Kong (below). Others morph and change according to the needs of the owners. Some are animatronic.

Reminds me of those changing billboards in Florida.

I would hate to live next door to that building! It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with the gigantic red neon chicken on the roof!

Absolutely awesome. This just goes to show how technology is improving day by day. The architect is extremely talented.

Very talented indeed, but as The Schmoozer said, I don’t think I’d want to be living next door to a building like that. Very clever - it would be interesting to see in person.

This is amazing and definately a unique skyline for any city. I wonder if you live near this if the lights are annoying at night or just really cool. You might wake of one night and see a 50 story Gorilla climbinig up a building or yeah they did that one all ready King Kong. Absolutely coo1! This is commercial real estate and marketing at there best very creative.

I can see the theme parks doing this in the future on there buildings. They already project on walls of water and globes for there nightly firework shows.

This is the neatest thing I ever saw on a building.

Love it, love it, love it. How cool is this and genius. I see this coming to Vegas and Hollywood and New York sometime soon.
