A Message System for the Non-Confrontational: HadToSay

Want to speak your mind but are afraid of a confrontation?

HadtoSay lets you send an anonymous online message to anyone while you are safe at home.

The way the message is delivered & retrieved is what makes this tool interesting– Here’s how it works:

1. Log in and Type your message at hadtosay.com

2. When done, hadtosay gives you a Message # and a PIN and a notification card.

3. Deliver or leave the notification card (which includes the Message # and Pin) for the recipient.  Or can can just write the Message ID and PIN on a piece of paper with the hadtosay URL)

4. The recipient picks up the notification card ( thinks WTF?) and  goes to retrieve your message.

5. The recipient can respond and leave comments.

You can also post the message to Twitter or other social networking sites.

FREE.

Here’s an example of the notification card for a message I typed at the site:

[If you visit hadtosay.com and type in the above Message ID# (j25v04) and PIN (5478) you will see my message]

According to hadtosay:

HadToSay is a free service that allows you to anonymously share your thoughts, about anything, with anyone, at any time… a random person you cross on the sidewalk, a secret office crush, that bonehead who pinned you in by parking too close or that tall drink of water, or spicy little vixen at the coffee shop.

According to Sellsius:

Not sure how to use this tool for marketing.  Could it be used for a business card?  Maybe stick it on a For Sale By Owner sign.  When the owner retrieves the message they see: We specialize in creative marketingWatch this video for some fun ideas.

How would you use hadtosay?

Critique:

It seems only text is allowed in the message.  The tool would be much better if you could upload images and/or links.  Now that would be something to say.
