Better Than Bookmarks: LaterThis Saves Links Better

I really like just launched LaterThis.  It saves website links with just one click.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Find an interesting website you don’t have time for right now
  2.  Click the LaterThis bookmarklet
  3. The link is saved in your LaterThis account (tag it, star it, leave a note)
  4. Go to work
  5. Come back to your account (via the MyLaterThis bookmarklet)
  6. All your links are there, listed nice and neat
  7. There is even a screenshot of the webpage to jog your memory
  8. Smile that you found this cool tool

Here’s a screenshot of my recent LaterThis links:

Here’s what the bookmarklets look like in your toolbar (drag & drop)

You can also access your account via iPhone or iPod touch.

It’s all free. Nothing to install.  Just sign up here.

Oh boy, I think I’m going to like this as much as you! I have such a hard time finding sites I looked at and wanted to go back to. I sometimes will copy and paste the link in an email to myself. I know I have ‘bookmarks or my favorites’, but that just doesn’t seem to be of much help to me. This looks like it really will be just the help I need.

Thanks for giving it a try and then sharing it with us!

My pleasure. The bookmarklets make it so easy to use and, unlike bookmarking, you can tag or comment on the links, which makes them easier to find and identify.
