Blog Photo Widget Links to Your Posts

Similar to the old Filmloop, Bloglue Film Widget shows a roll of film on your blog which unwinds to display images from your blog posts, with corresponding links to the posts.

It looks like this when unopened:

Click the arrow to unroll the film. When you roll the cursor over an image, it displays the post and intro text. Double click the image and it takes you to the post.

Hmm.. if you blogged your listings, this might be an interesting interactive way to display them.

I installed the widget on the blog. What do you think? Neat or annoying?

I place my vote for lame as well. It took for ever to load and then when the pictures scattered I ended up having to close the page and come back to get rid of them, it took away all functionality of the page, I couldn't even post a comment without refreshing the page.

Probably a good way to drive people away from the site.

If the photos didn't get scattered all over the screen, it might be kinda cool, but once they're scattered, I couldn't get them to go away. I guess I'll have to vote 'annoying'

Yep. That irreversible scattering effect is hard on the eyes. The death of
this widget is in the offing.

Sorry, this is lame. The widget itself looks cheesey, it takes a while to load, and the pics it throws up over your screen as you mouse over the little thumbnails are irritating. I find it very annoying (as I'm sure you've guessed by now) ;-)
