There is nothing to download. EchoSign works on a Blackberry, iPhone, Mac, PC , whatever. It also automatically stores all your documents.

The best part may be the free version for low volume users

    5 free per month

Other features include:

· Ability to get a written (biometric) signature using a mouse.

· Full mobile support, with option to sign by fax, if desired.

· Integrates with other web-tools: Google Docs and Apps; Box.net; Zoho Writer, etc

When sending a document for signature, you can quickly and easily select input boxes such as ’signature’, ‘initials’, and ‘date signed’ and place them throughout a contract wherever acknowledgment is desired. This drag and drop capability is web based and works with all browsers. For your customer, the EchoSign Signing Wizard offers a step-by-step guide pointing out where a document needs to be initialed or signed. Your customer can initial and sign documents online with a biometric signature, ensuring security and compliance with industry regulations.

This looks like a great app. Has anyone used EchoSign? How does it compare to DocuSign?

  • Regarding pricing, DocuSign is $15.95 / month with a pre-paid annual subscription. You may qualify for special pricing for various memberships or affiliations.

Additionally, DocuSign offers free esign through DocuSign for Drawloop. http://apps.drawloop.com/loop/free-pdf-converter

    I hope that helps!

    Give Sertifi a look.

We (media company using Salesforce) have per user, per month pricing. Except for biometric signing, we've been using everything mentioned during the EchoSign's Spring/Summer 09 release video through Sertifi for the last 2 years. As jfsellsius mentioned, I don't think we want our signers signing with a mouse. I'm not sure if Sertifi offers biometric signing or not - they didn't 2 years ago.

I won't bash EchoSign - and we didn't evaluate DocuSign - but we are very happy with our choice of Sertifi as our Esign provider as integrated within our CRM.
  • Thanks for the tip on Sertifi. Anyone know the pricing difference between
these folks? I do like EchoSigns free version for low volume users. Anyone
    else offer this?
  • DocuSign is also integrated with all of the major real estate forms providers, like Zipforms, Winforms, Realfast, and so on, so you can use it with your existing forms creation software. You can also upload your signature, if you want your electronic signature to visually look like your "wet" signature.

DocuSign's workflow capabilities also mean that you can set signer orders, copy the other relator / real estate agent on the transaction, so that after your client signs, it automatically goes to the next signer(s). Your counterpart agent can receive the documents after your client(s) have signed, keeping the transaction paperless from end-to-end.

    Thanks for asking about DocuSign!
  • What are the cost differences?

We use DocuSign. It is much better suited for Real Estate, and the signers can sign faster. I've heard horror stories about people trying to make their signature with a mouse - it just does not work and they get frustrated.
  • One need not sign with a mouse, though.

Are the costs comparable? Any other differences?
