Video Business Card is Interactive Marketing Tool: rCard

Everyone uses business cards to market themselves and their business brand. But only rCard owners can market properties, promotions, product demonstrations, and their business, via video, slide show, photos and text.

The rCard plays up to 50 images or text in a color slide show format. It is a unique way to advertise and share information interactively with your clients or prospects. It’s a website on a business card. And it fits in your wallet (but I’d be careful about sitting down). It will definitely make you stand out from the crowd.

Unique Business & Real Estate Marketing

Real estate professionals can prepare rCards for their properties— show them to prospective buyers rather than sitting them around your desk or a computer or relying on them to view the property links you sent them. Home sellers will be impressed at listing presentations, knowing you are going the extra tech yard for them. Heck, impress them with a PowerPoint type presentation on your rCard. Since it attracts attention, it’s a great way to advertise your business and your brand.

Advertising Applications

Besides being an innovative tool at listing presentations and property showings, imagine sending rCards in your direct mail campaign. Recipients are more likely to get your message and less likely to toss it like a mini-calendar. Or use it to hold a contest or just to advertise you and your business.

OK, so you want to know the cost— the eCard Information kit says $25 or less. Not bad at all to impress a client and get a listing.

The rCard was invented by Bud Wilcox who had a vision to put a website on a business card (very cool Bud)

Some rCard specs:

  • USB port for downloading
  • Holds 1 Gig of flash memory (50 frames)
  • 2 hour battery life (rechargeable via wall or car charger)
  • 2 navigation buttons
  • 2 x 1.75 inch color LCD screen (card size: 3.5 x 2 inches & .17 ” thick)
  • custom skins (great for branding)

    Loren,

    Does it work as advertised?

    yes

but there was i had some issues on their biz model

if you wanted to put new files on the card you had to send it
back in to get the new stuff on the card.

the software for the card was NOT to be included if “I” sold a card to you. I had to instead charge you a fee to update the card then give it back to you. I’m all for making more money but that would piss customers off .

give me a ring and I’ll explain

Love the idea of this interactive business card but $25 is bit too much in my opinion to be used as marketing tool.

It’s a great marketing idea if you can keep costs down and make it more people friendly!
If I have to send it back in for someone else to make changes to it that will not work for me I have to be self sufficient!
