Another guest post from that Realtor extraordinaire north of the border, Larry Yatkowsky on a cool tool to turn your blog posts to something you, or a friend, can hold in your hand (no, this has nothing to do with his How’s Your Blog Hanging post– a paper version of your illuminating blog posts.

Take it away Larry ~~
Ever listened to Bachman Turner Overdrive’s – Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet? No! Well you should! If that isn’t the new Realtor get up and go song to get everyone up out of the grumpy housing market doldrums then it should be.
While you are rockin’ to that tune head over to www.zinepal.com. If you think you have the ‘localism’ thing under control well then – You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.
Frank Worsley, a local Vancouver BC boy who is a bit of a wunderkind, has built this fabulous tool to make you better at what you do. That is to say, his program helps you expose yourself.
Bridging the gap between online and paper Frank has developed this incredible bit of software that will make your “localism” efforts LOCO.
Here’s the snap shot. Load up www.zinepal.com. After registering, give it your blog’s URL. Hit enter and watch it load up all the posts you have written. Select your lastest and click on the all-good-go-ahead button. Within 50 seconds it will collate the posts, format them to newspaper style and emails a PDF to you.
Want it on your phone? Click the other button for mobile and voila, zinepal makes it pretty for your iphone as well.
Here’s the Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet part. Load up the PDF, hit print and wham-mo, you now have a fabulous formatted paper version of your blog.
Zinepal even pre-formats a title for you, puts your posts into nice newspaper style for easy reading and includes a place to add your signature. That’s the part where you put your name and phone number.
Here’s the hard part. Load up some of your blog in print and head down to your local coffee shop or barber shop. Ask the barrista and barber if you can leave some FREE LOCAL NEIGHBORHOOD news in their reading basket. How hard will that be if you just happen to do a post about their services and it’s front and center on your Blog-Zine. What are the chances of them turning you away?
It’s also a great way to introduce yourself and have them become part of your sphere of influence. It’s the set up for the next time.
Now let’s go to the movies.
Frank put together this ditty with a better explanation of how it all works. The best part – it’s free. Canadians – doin what we do best – helping.
