Find The Safest Bike Route Using Ride The City

Want to find the fastest or safest bike route between two points in New York City?  Use Ride the City (beta).

Ride the City finds the most direct or safest route in 2 useful ways:

(1) it excludes roads that aren’t meant for biking, like the BQE and the Queens Midtown tunnel

(2) it tries to locate routes that are bike lanes and greenways.

The mapped route and turn-by-turn directions are displayed Google map-like.  Bike lanes and greenways are marked:

With the rising cost of gas, Ride the City should be a hit in any city it pedals to.

Marketing  TIP: Pass this site on to any clients that like to bike.

The kids behind RTC seem like an eager bunch.  Good luck fellas.
