A hotel has found a novel (and inexpensive) way to demolish the interior of its hotel rooms to make way for refurbishment. It is running a wrecking competition. That’s right. NH Hotels will hand out sledge hammers to folks and invite them to smash and bash to their heart’s content. And guess who gets to have all the fun? Stressed out executives. Thirty will be chosen by, get this, a team of psychologists to destroy any part of the company’s 146 room hotel in Madrid, Spain.
We think this innovative approach could be applied in gut renovations—only we’d suggest using stressed out Realtors.
