One of the nice things about Firefox is its ability to remember all those new passwords you keep dreaming up for all the new accounts you keep setting up. But if someone has access to your computer, they can boot it up and click through to your password protected accounts.
That’s why it’s a good idea to set the Master Password, which prevents access to the accounts. Here’s how. Go to Tools and click Options.

Then select the Password tab to set the Master Password.

Now, whenever you restart your computer just enter the Master Password to proceed to your other accounts.
Easy. Now, this advice will not protect you against professionals getting access to your accounts, but at least it can prevent the amateurs.
