You can now find ads on pool tables and airline tray table ads.

These restaurant table ads are available by TableTopGraphics. These are our favorite for real estate agents. They are permanently affixed. We’d prefer they were more easily replaceable (for actual listings).
What do all these ads have in common? They are captive audience ads. Unlike a TV or print ad, you can’t change the channel or turn the page. For the period of time you are on the airplane, at the restaurant or shooting pool, the ad is there and you will look at it.
The key to maximizing the effectiveness of these ads is to match content appropriate to the location. For example, if the restaurant was located in a tourist city or beach town, local realtor ads for condo and co-op sales & rentals, timeshares, B&Bs, or apartment rentals would be a nice match. If the tables were in a college town, student housing and roommate shares would be appropriate.
Here’s a thought. What if a brokerage bought their own tables and put their branded ads on it and offered to supply them to the local mall food court, restaurant, laundry (perfect for rental ads with washer & dryer included) or other location that would target their niche customer. Maybe you could mix in a few housing related tips to foster reading of the ads. Free tables for the business and permanent captive audience ads for the brokerage. A win-win situation.
