Getclicky Is Our New Favorite Web 2.0 Analytics Program

Getclicky.com is a super cool analytics tool for your website or blog.

On March 27th, we wrote a post offering our opinion that Performancing Metrics was the best blog analytics program. Thanks to some great reader feedback (thanks John), we amended our language in the comment section by saying it was “our favorite” analytics program. Ever since, Pmetrics has been experiencing all sorts of issues, making my experience with them very frustrating. Adding to that, we recommended Pmetrics to a few people who loved the service but were also frustrated by the frequency the service was offline, as well as a lack of any response to their emails from Performancing.

Friend and fellow real estate blogger, Loren Nason, of The Future of Real Estate Technology, emailed this to us morning and brought Getclicky to my attention (my apologies for not doing my homework on this in the first place). To make a short story long, I mean a long story short, Loren noticed that the service was virtually identical and asked, “What the fark”? After seeing the striking similarities, I emailed one of the founders, asking all sorts of questions. Sean, the Co-founder and lead programmer from Getclicky, immediately replied to my email and set the record straight - Performanicing had indeed licensed and re-branded Getclicky’s software. But, for reasons unknown, Performancing was having many issues with their Pmetrics service, unlike Getclicky, which according to Sean, had no issues and no downtime over the last 4 months.

So I ditched Pmetrics and created our account with Getclicky. All is good now. Sean was extremely helpful and understanding, unlike Performancing which never replied to any of my emails. He truly understands the meaning of customer service.

Thanks Sean!!

Yes, I completely agree. GetClicky.com is amazing. We have been using Google Analytics and GetClicky on all of our sites including RealBird.com, RealKi (now InmanWiki) and on all of our listing websites.

While Google Analytics is great for data mining, it is too complicated (too many options and drill downs) for on-going review of traffic flow. GetClicky on the other hand has a lot of features (see their comp. matrix on their site) which makes it extremely easy to follow what’s happening on your site and blog.

It is essential to see how traffic is flowing in and out of your site.

I had a comment on ActiveRain regarding how GetClicky - in combination with other tools - enabled me to turn web traffic flow into real world contact:

Sorry for the self-promotion, this is really about GetClicky. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for this! Looks like a really nice program, much easier for some of my clients to get around in than Google Analytics.

sells’…thanks for the heads up. Far and away better than sitemeter. I’ll watch them both for awhile. I did notice that when signing up there was a note sent to my email about “Thanks for signing up for the Pro Trial Version…A subscription fee is next?

PS: Usually when someone gives me a heads up, I duck.
