A defamation lawsuit has been filed over comments made on ShoeMoney blog. The owner of the blog, Jeremy Schoemaker, will be questioned (deposed) and his logs subpoened. He is not being sued.
In a June case we reported on James Poling of BlogNYC (now metadish) being sued by a former Playboy Playmate. That case is still pending. These cases are hard to win because of the difficulty is proving actual damages.
