On our way to lunch, high pitched sirens of NYC’S Bravest & Finest caught our attention. Upon investigation we saw firemen rushing to the scene of a garage roof collapse in the Waldorf Astoria parking facility. We were able to get in for a quick snapshot and were literally standing upon the rubble of the collapse getting ready to take another more detailed picture when hotel security stormed us and hastily ushered us out, along with other media. Our blog credentials meant nothing to them and couldn’t get us past the gatekeepers. That’s ok, as long as it was reported that no one was injured.
