Just Toilet Paper offers advertising by the roll. No kidding. Here’s their pitch:
On the average people go to the bathroom 6 times a day. Public restrooms are used very often. Why not place your business or product in front of (…don’t they mean behind?) thousands of people who use restrooms every day. This is a sure fire way to grab people’s attention.
If some adventurous real estate agent or mortgage broker wants to get behind this type of advertising, here’s a sample ad we came up with. We suggest you leave off your photo.

I can relate to this! Frankly, it is so literal and unrelated. I still believe that advertising should be in the right place and time. Yes, there is a great need to be out there and hustling possible clients, but it comes with credibility. There are still many ways as alternative to the traditional method. For example, the mobile phone is a great medium. Wireless networks today give opportunities to companies to advertise through SMS. All the sellers need to do is get the right application like cellmyhouse.org
Could be a good advertising medium for the rehab investors. Instead of “We buy ugly houses”, how about “We pay cash for your dump”.
Like that one, Pensacola REN.
This might be a great medium to advertise in if you were the #2 agent in town.
#2
How’s this:
“If number 1 doesn’t relieve you of your house, maybe you need to go #2. We try harder”
We have a septic company, or maybe it’s a porta-potty company, that has as their slogan on their trucks - “We’re Number ONE in Number Two”.
I like Pensacola’s comment!
Guess this goes beyond thinking outside the box - of course, maybe the bathroom is a box…..
That is too funny.
Are you a renter? Stop flushing your money away.
Buy now and sit on your own throne.
A recycled paper company could use: “Once is not enough.” Bet that would make some people wonder.
