Steal Take the quiz. Answers tomorrow or the next day (and the quiz source, so you can complain to them about the answers). [Note on above image: Other than having the word "thief' in it, it has no secret meaning or connection to the post. I just liked the movie and the post gave me a thin excuse to use it.]

  • Nope. It has been so long since I saw it that I don't remember much except really not liking it.
  • It was a strange movie. Did you know Helen Mirren starred in it?
  • Can I just say that I really hated that movie. I don't like burglars either, but fortunately, I haven't run in to any. I will be looking for your answers.
  • It is scary to think of people watching you for days before they get ready to rob you...

When my father passed away, my mother was having a real hard time, of course. Then 2 days after the death her garage was broken into...talk about feeling helpless...

and my grandmother, had her wedding ring stolen from burglars...

Thanks, Sellsius for stirring up forgotten anger. good topic though
  • We've read that burglars casing a neighborhood target homes by the cardboard boxes left out with the trash-----plasma tvs, stereos, computers. They know that new stuff is worth more.
  • Burglars are the lowest of the low! The night before I moved into my very first brand new home, burglars broke in and stole all of our appliances and tracked mud through the entire house...I know mud...but after that I always thought the house was tainted! We moved 8 months later. We learned that these creeps made their primary business of robbing new homeowners in new developments. They knew when furniture and appliances were being delivered because they had been hired by various contractors working with new home builders! (PS-Thanks to Reggie for cleaning up the mud before I came home!)
