Google lets you create a Place Page for any real estate listing or your business.
It will then appear in search results on Google Maps.
A Place Page is a web page for every place in the world, organizing all the world’s information for that place. And we really mean every place: there are Place Pages for businesses, points of interest, transit stations, landmarks, and cities all over the world. To find a Place Page, click on “more info” in your Google Maps search results or “more info” in the info bubble on the map.
Place Pages contain:
- listing details
- photos
- videos
- link to listing source
- appointment times
- Street View preview
- nearby public transit information (if available)
- search nearby (restaurants, attractions, etc)
- directions;
- save listing to My maps; and
- “Send” link to open an outgoing email with the place page link embedded

Place Places are great but right now it’s tough for consumers to find them:
1. you enter search terms and have to click Maps to see the listings pinned to a map
2. then click the listing pin
3. then click More Info to see the Place Page
This stinks, Google.
You have to make the link to Google Maps/Place Pages easier from the Web search page: (send my fee in cash in brown bag, with a sandwich)
