From the Sellsius Mail Bag: LakeFrog Lake Property Listing Site and RV Golf Property

lake-frog

The blog seems to attract a fair amount of email from folks wanting me to check out their real estate website, application, cool tool and risque video.  Hmm… go figure.   I’m happy to oblige.

In the recent mail were a couple of  niche websites.  The first is LakeFrog.

LakeFrog is a real estate listing site for lake area properties.   Sales and rentals.  List for FREE.

I must admit, I like this niche because I love lakes.  My mind wanders to Lake George in upstate New York where we used to rent log cabins that hadn’t been updated since the 1940’s and we loved it– boat rides on the lake, fishing, hikes in the forest and at night… some hot… well, you know ….  marshmallows.   But I digress.

Hop over to LakeFrog and dip your toes in their lakes. Do an advanced search.  They also have proximity search.

If you have a listing in a lake community, put it on the Frog.

Here’s a typical listing.

LakeFrog lists the top 10 lakes with listings.  (It would be nice if there was a master list of the lakes they have by state.)

Good luck Lake Frog.

LakeFrog also has a blog.  (Tell them Sellsius sent you.)

Next up is El Monte RV, which has a list of  RV Parks with golf courses AND golf courses with RV accommodations.

Having traveled a bit in an RV, I like the idea of this resource.

They currently have 40 resorts in 16 states.   If you know of any Golf /RV resorts that are not on the list,  let them know and they will add them to the list.

For the  RV crowd, Monty’s blog:

Here’s the list for Arizona. (heard there are a lot of sand traps, including on the fairways)

That’s it folks.

If anyone out there wants me to take a look at their stuff, contact me.  I can’t promise it will make it on the blog, but I’ll do my best.

  • For a master list of lakes by state click on the Maps tab and you can then look at all of the states in the left column and look to see how many listings for each state. Click into the state and you will see a listing below the map of all the lakes with listings. Hope that helps.
  • Absolutely. Thanks Max. A very useful feature.
