In a bookstore near you
While attending the Active Rain party at Inman Real Estate Connect in San Francisco, and still with my wits about me, I spoke with…. ah, what’s his name again… (darn)… well I took his photo (below). Anyway, he showed me a softcover book of his blog. Yes, he published his blog as a book. He said it cost him $8.95 to self-publish it with Lulu.com.
I thought it an interesting way to market one’s work expertise. Besides, being an author has some marketing cachet. And if you think about it, no one reads the precious posts in your blog archives anyway.
Besides Lulu, there is blurb.com. I also came across a beta site called Magcloud which will publish a magazine of your work.
