How to Market An Electric Heater Using Amish Branding

Miracle Amish electric home heater costs less to run than your coffee pot! Yours free (limit 2 to a customer). That’s the pitch. Oh yeah, some Chinese engineering genius deserves the credit too. Oh, brother.

Actually, it’s an example of some age old marketing persuasion techniques –

  • pitch a “miracle” product
  • piggyback a hot newsworthy topic (energy bills)
  • make an extraordinary claim that may be true in some respect (cheaper to run than a coffee pot)
  • get a trustworthy spokesperson with a good brand (the Amish)
  • offer it for free (just buy the hand crafted Amish mantle to help the folks out)
  • throw in some exotic mysterious secret sauce (Chinese engineering genius)
  • get into mainstream media to build credibility (works for Z low).

The rest is money in the bank.

Oh yeah, throw in some gratuitous sexual innuendo.
