Pimp My Facebook: How to Import Blog Posts to Your Wall

pimp facebook sellsius

You can automatically have your blog posts appear on your Facebook page Wall.

Here’s one easy way: Via Notes

1. Go to your Facebook page

2. Click Edit Page

3.  Scroll to  Notes and click edit (Notes is in the Application section)

4.  In Notes Settings, click link to “Import a blog

5. Enter URL of your blog and check box. Click start importing.

6.  Confirm.

7. Done.

Here’s another way (thanks Ken Montville):

Add the Networked Blogs app. Their “Feed Settings” lets you design how your blog feed publishes to your page.

  • Nice instructions. I'm a fan of Networked Blogs myself. They even bring in a graphic from the blog post, if there is one. I find that people read and then comment back on Facebook vs commenting directly on the blog but, hey, readership is readership, huh?
  • I used Networked Blogs to post manually. Does it automatically post on your wall too?
  • Yes Networked blogs auto post also:)
  • Thanks Chris.
  • Heather
    Totally cool. Thanks!
  • Lucidity
This will totally give my Facebook page the pizazz it needs. Thanks!
By the way, for all your paper writing needs, I'm the man to call.
  • I do not necessarily want to import my tweets as status messages and would instead like to have a feed mix of both blog articles and tweets. I was hoping there was a more straightforward solution than using FriendFeed to aggregate your content and then plug that RSS feed into Facebook Notes, but alas my hopes are dashed yet again. Either way, FriendFeed is still a good work around.
  • You can use links to add your chosen blog posts manually. As for tweets
there is a auto Tweet app from Involver. Im not a fan of it. Otherwise you
can have twitter automatically send your tweets to your wall.
