I like Propertyqube. I recently met with founder David Bethoney in New York City, who shared his vision to provide a richer web experience to both consumers and real estate professionals. This is done, in part, by aggregating real estate information– gathering conversations, blog posts, maps, property listings, profiles, Q&A relating to local real estate.
Aggregating Information on Place
Propertyqube just launced PropertyLife to provide real estate information on a city or local area, gathered from various sources, such as local blogs and Q&A conversations. Here’s how it works:
Have a blog? Do you write about your local community? Have photos of the city or neighborhood you live in? Well here’s your chance to contribute! When you create a blog or feed your blog into Propertyqube, it will be distributed to four different places throughout our network. It will show up front and center on your local PropertyLife page, in a widget on every listing in your area, on our main blog page and on the user home page of every user in your local area.
Enhanced Profiles and Branding for Real Estate Agents
Another cool feature is the enhancement of the real estate agent profile by placing listings directly on the page. See an agent’s profile page here.
It’s easy for a real estate agent to claim their listings and have them aggregate to their profile page, along with their blog:
Simply search for your listings using our newly refined criteria box, scroll down to the contact widget, click “Claim your listing,” accept the disclosure. That’s it! Your photo will automatically show up on the listing along with a link to your profile, your contact info and a small blurb about your expertise. Not only that, but if you have a blog, your blog will feed into the listing page to be discovered by passerbys.
Since PQ has the Google Base listings, agents will find it easy to locate their listings and brand them on PQ.
Ultimately, consumers are better served when they can get as much information about an area in one place. Propertyqube is headed, thankfully, in that direction. Check out the site and sign up for a free account.
