Use SEOQuake Firefox Add On for Search Engine Marketing

For folks interested in search engine information on a website or blog they are visiting — (maybe to make an intelligent comment and get a backlink?), try the SEOQuake Firefox extension. (There is also an Internet Explorer version)

SEOQuake creates a browser toolbar that displays a slew of  parameters on the website you are visiting, including:

  • IP Address
  • Whois
  • GooglePage Rank
  • Compete Rank
  • Alexa ranking
  • Inbound links
  • No  Follows, and much more.

You can even compare URLs and domains.  It is also possible to see the SEOQuake stats on Google SERP pages.

According to the site, SEOQuake is clean:

Softpedia guarantees that SeoQuake is 100% CLEAN, which means it does not contain any form of malware, including but not limited to: spyware, viruses, trojans and backdoors.

This stuff can get a little geeky, so they offer a couple of Tutorials on how to use SEOQuake. (Not that helpful, really.)

They have a blog. (a little better)

Give SEOQuake a try and see things through a  geek’s eyes.

  • Hey, man, just wanted to let you know that it took...something close to 30 seconds from when I clicked comment to when this here window showed up. I had the perfect comment, too, it was pithy, smart, and it tied everything together, but my synapses fired something else into the foreground and it's now lost forever.
  • Dang!
  • And it did it again. When I clicked in my email to say what the great Jeff said...it smooshed me.
  • I emailed my host to see if they can get the lead out. Thanks for the heads
    up.
  • Just wanted to say thanks for the item. I checked it out and it seems cool will play around with it. Also the scribefire guy has a new tweeter tool you might already know about but if not here is the link http://blog.scribefire.com/ I tried it out and it seems to work out ok but will have to check it out some to see what it is really like. Thanks again for the great post!
  • I`m using SEOQuake for sometime already. It is really a very useful tool for its purpose.
  • I really like the SEO Book toolbar, but it doesn't automatically show Nofollow links, so there's a plus.
  • Yes, I like the nofollow links
  • I used SEO Quake for a while some time back. I thought it was great, but apparently I used it too much and PO'd the almighty Google Gods off royally. They temporarily banned me from searching Google, lmao....... I didn't know that you could get booted from "searching" on Google. Learn sumtin new every day!

I really did go overboard though. My IT dude had to change my IP address a few times to get around it. Finally just uninstalled it. But, I miss it, lol...

Maybe I'll try it again. Gotta keep that IT dude working hahahahaha....
