World’s First True Blue Rose

blue-rose.gif

The Blue Rose is the Holy Grail of roses. Japanese and Australian researchers used RNAi technology to finally create the world’s first blue rose. Blue roses traditionally signify mystery or attaining the impossible. They are believed to be able to grant the owner youth or grant wishes (wikipedia).
Unfortunately it will be another 3 years before they will be commercially available. Now, that would make a unique closing gift.
Happy Spring everyone.

I’ve been waiting for blue roses to come out for so long. I can’t wait to get my hands on some, they are so beautiful. I wish I could get some right now instead of waiting a couple years.
