Mega Advertising Targets Airline Passengers: Ad Air

An ad company is creating unique, world record size ads. These huge, flat on the ground ads are placed along airline flight paths for passengers to see for about 10 seconds. Ad-Air thinks airline passengers are a highly desirable advertising demographic. Plus, they are a captive audience (buckled in and all).

Ad-Air has rights to 30 airports, including London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Los Angeles International, Chicago O’Hare and Tokyo Narita. The company is privately funded.

Their ad for Sorouh Real Estate in Dubai got Guinness World Book certification as the world’s largest banner ad. It’s the size of 3 football fields. 14 million visitors a year are estimated to see the ginormous ad.
