I wrote an article on how Microsoft Surface might impact real estate last week by telling a story of how a (fictional) single real estate agent (or Realtor) might use this technology to help a couple sell their old home and find a new one.

Personally, I’m not a Microsoft fan — but I’m certainly a fan of technology in general and this cutting edge, multi-touch screen, multi-media embodiment of where (and how) technology is advancing in particular.

I work with real estate agents, so it’s only natural that I look at every piece of cool new software that appeals to my geeky side and ask the question, “Yes, but how can this help real estate agents and brokers improve the quality of their life, their business and their bottom line?”

This particular technology is probably going to be huge for this industry, IMHO. And it’s scheduled to hit the corporate markets before the end of this year!

Angela, yours is a great article on the practical application of this new tool. Every broker should read it. Thanks for passing it on.

All I know is you sure as hell don’t mix up your “personal” camera with your “work” camera anymore. That damn surface thingy just rips them all from the camera and spreads them out in front of everyone…
