World’s First Mobile Hotel is a Transformer

Hotel Movil is a truck which converts into a two story, 11 room hotel at the push of a button. That’s right. It goes from this:

to this, in 30 minutes:

2 story hotel movil

The first floor has 8 bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each, with bathroom. Three luxurious suites (for up to 5 people each) take up the second floor. The suites come with independent terraces and an interior corridor. You get flat screen plasma tvs, DVD players and WiFi access. These guests also get to use a sun deck. Oh mama! The total capacity of this Optimus Primal mobile hotel is 50 people.

Some more views:

You can rent Hotelmovil for the weekend for $8000. If you want to be the envy of the tailgate crowd or take it on the NASCAR circuit, you can own it for $500,000. The company says it has many other uses: office space, sales room, meeting room, exhibition space, hospital, film studio. A builder would draw quite a crowd with this baby. Visit the Hotelmovil website here.

Hey Rudy, how’s about this for the next Blog Tour?
