For Bonnie, You Bet

Minnesota, Land of 10,000 Lakes, big fish and some really big bugs. What’s in the water, Bonnie?

The top one is Bonnies Garage. The next one is the entry to her yard. Then is her grandfather. And last but not least is the biggest dang grasshopper I have seen in my whole life.

Gee thanks, guys. Wish I had a garage. I moved to the city and left the two car garage plus the 1.5 garage plus the chicken coop storage building behind. Now the garage is a figment of my imagination and will be a product of the new real estate market! I hate to pop your bubbles, but I’m not a native Minneso—tan. Born in Iowa, raised in Indiana, grew up in Minnesota, “got educated” in Illinois - Chicago of all places. But the Boundary Waters used to produce some pretty good sized northern in my younger years . . . 14 pounds of big teeth looking at you when you land them. Nasty old buggers, they were. The water in the BWCA was so clear and clean we drank right out of the lake with no ill effects. You can’t do that with the north branch of the Chicago River!
