Press Release:
Atlanta 575 Real Estate is one of the first real estate place blogs. From politics, traffic, and zoning, to tech tools, industry observations and humor, Atlanta 575 Real Estate is written to reach local residents, Realtors, developers, investors, and casual readers with an occasional story worthy of national recognition.
Brad Nix started the blog in February of 2006 and reached 100 posts by December. Several posts have added fuel to the fire of local debates over zoning and land-use. While other posts have uncovered valuable technology tools that others have implemented on their own blogs. Yet other stories have matched local problems with national trends.
Atlanta 575 Real Estate blog participated in the first ever Yankee Blog Swap last December. The blog swap featured 34 real estate bloggers “guest writing” for each other’s blog. Nix was paired with Gena Riede of SacramentoRealEstateVoice.com. The event was a huge online marketing success for all participants.
Atlanta 575 Real Estate blog was rated 5 out 5 as one of the best real estate blogs in all of Metro Atlanta. Nix stated, “I had no idea what I was doing when I first started, but since then I have learned the benefits of sharing information with a community of friends.” The blog has over 45 committed readers and numerous visitors per day. “The only goal I have for my blog is to have fun and develop relationships with my readers.” Those relationships have proven fruitful for Nix, as he has closed two sales that he can attribute to his blogging commitment.
As everyone adapts to online communities (myspace, youtube, facebook), Nix is leading the adaptation from local real estate 1.0 to online real estate 2.0.

Due to a spam filter snafu, Doug Quance’s comment to this press release post was eaten. Doug emailed me to say he couldn’t recall the exact comment but it was to the effect that
“Brad Nix is a monster blogger. Atlanta is fortunate to have him!”
Yes, indeed.
Sorry Doug (and Brad). We gave Spam Karma a good talking to but we’re not sure he understood. Such is the downside of technology.
