About: I found this informative and thought provoking NYC Real Estate Blog via Curbed the other day. It is authored by Douglas Heddings, a Broker and Senior Vice Presisdent from Douglas Elliman who is in the top 1% of brokers nationwide. According to Heddings, the blogs mission is to help raise the bar in the industry and help break the used car salesman stereotype that brokers have. He fears there may be repercussions from both his company and industry peers as a result of his views. Thus far, the blog addresses many interesting topics such as tips on hiring a broker and real estate commisions.
Here’s today’s post titled: A Broker’s View of Unscrupulous Real Estate Brokers which includes a podcast that’s a must hear.
We first had the Property Grunt, which brought us a real estate agents inside view of the NYC Real Estate marketplace. Now we have True Gotham on the front lines which addresses the real issues that many just think about and are afraid to discuss. I applaud both for their effort and wish them continued success.
