Sellsius Is Project Blogger Coach

We were honored when Jonathan Washburn of Active Rain asked Sellsius° to participate as a Coach in his brainchild Project Blogger. (Reminds us of Project Runway (loved that show) except no one will be creating any clothing.) We don’t consider ourselves blogging experts by any means. Heck, we’re still learning ourselves. But we love promoting others and are always willing to pass on what we know to help another blogger.

We agreed to participate for a couple of reasons. The main reason is Jonathan. We got to know Jonathan at Inman NYC Connect. (Both he and Matt came to our soiree at the Hudson Hotel.) Jonathan is a wonderful person who, with Matt Heaton, has given a great service to the real estate industry. Active Rain is a place to share ideas and find support and encouragement. We have always loved it.

Secondly, Inman News is co-sponsor of Project Blogger and we’re happy to be involved in anything Brad has his hand in. Brad Inman is the reigning champion of bringing THE PEOPLE behind new technology and innovation together. His Real Estate Connect Conferences are a must for any networking real estate professional.

Lastly, but most importantly, we’re doing it because the stated object of the Project is to help a blogger who “has not generated any business or leads from blogging before the start of the competition.” Success to us will be bringing success to our apprentice.

Project Blogger provides a great opportunity for a blogger to get recognition. Part of this blogger thing is just getting noticed.

We will announce our selected apprentice blogger on Friday.

In this case, I think being selected is synonymous with winning. What young blogger wouldn’t want to toil under the scrutiny of the mighty Sellsius?

I’ll kindly thank you all to stop beating my door down to be your blogging apprentice. The baby is trying to sleep!

Jonathan - you just never know who will win a contest. :)

What I meant was that being selected as apprentice by Sellsius is a win in my book. I personally don’t care who wins the contest, tough guy (or tough girl).

We love you Jonathan and would have picked you except for one thing—you don’t need a coach. If anything, YOU should be a coach. You are well on your way to becoming the mighty Mad Realtor blog. We’re happy that you are a regular guest at our little blog party.

Teresa, we have our money on you since you have more than a few notches on your blogging belt. They never told us they had a ringer in the project :)

YEAH, I can coach the fine art of pretending like you know what the hell you’re doing. I seem to be getting better at faking it.

Jonathan - I believe “fake it until you make it” is a key to real estate success.

Who knew you could get a blogging coach? I was always told that good writers are good readers. So hopefully Sellsius and the Mad Realtor and all the other great bloggers keep writing.

Yeah. Since I’m faking it, I might as well make a quick buck. If anybody is interested in some Blogging lessons, I offer them at a cut rate of $50 per session.

Rates are subject to negotiation depending upon my mood and level of sobriety, so it might be in your best interest to buy me several jack-n-cokes. You’ll probably get off cheaper that way.
