Newly launched N-Play thinks it has figured out a way to help buyers and sellers come to an agreement easier and faster. It is an application a broker can install on their website listings. A buyer need only click a button to activate N-Play.
The concept is simple– buyers make anonymous non-binding offers on properties directly from the online listing display. Sellers will have the chance to choose an offer (or no offer). Once the parties have connected, a Memo of Understanding is sent to each party— the agent is there to tie up any loose ends offline before a written contract is signed. Sounds logical. But will it work? At least buyers will know their offers got to the seller.
Mike Bloomfield, founder and CEO of N-Play thinks so:
Real estate remains the only major purchase that is not negotiated in advance of a legally binding written offer. This approach, especially in today’s market, creates an environment ripe for buyer reluctance to commit to making offers and failed deals based on seller anxiety and unfulfilled expectation levels. The result is a lost opportunity. N-Play solves this problem by enabling buyers to anonymously place non-binding, comprehensive and secure offers on property listings, without limitations. In this regard all the barriers that stand between buyers and sellers are eliminated yet keeps the real estate agent involved at every step in the process.
