The Real Estate Debate is Cancelled

no-show.gif

The value of an honest and healthy debate on relevant issues has been tainted by the words of Realtor® Greg Swan. It’s obvious from his post that any debate with him would soon deteriorate into a personal attack. We regret that he could not contribute to a meaningful exploration of the issues he raised.

Sorry folks :(

  • Bummer. I even held off on the strong drink on St. Patty's so I would be sober for the debate.

Last one to down ten jello shots is a rotten egg!
  • I was juiced for the event. What happened someone weenie out ?
  • Too bad...I was looking forward to a little drama!
  • I think the thirteenth word should be "clarified" not "tainted". Certainly, a weblog as important to the real estate community as Sellsius has more important debates to promote than this.
  • Debate is the most healthy, interactive and position representational method of improvement. Often it’s taken in the wrong note and triggered towards personal issues. It’s too bad and hope we raise such meaning issues in Sellsius in future.
  • looks like the debate has become ABOUT the debate. Hmmmm.
  • Of course, Michael. Without debate, you can't catch defish.
  • IM OUT. G
  • Having followed Greg's comments, I am not surprised. I wonder if his position on linking to Teresa or the Bubble is a rule for his guest bloggers. Brian Brady can you clarify? Can you write a post on Bloodhound and link to Teresa or not?
  • John,

    You're kidding, right?
  • Let's debate something new:

What's better...American Idol or Dancing With The Stars?

    Now this could get heated....
  • No, honestly, Brian, debate is how you catch defish.

    Isn't dat obvious?

Dang -- I hate writing with a cold.
  • I feel defeated. I walked a lot today, John. Thanks for the humor.

Greg Swan Dive HAD good blog traffic about a year ago, but any one that pointed out his conflicting SO Called and Supposedly "High Moral" consultative sales pitch-did get a personal attack! He was so aggravated with my position and questioning posts that he posted my personal e mail and business e mail out of vengeful spite; no 'debate' in that. only after I pointed out that he had breached a contract (Blog user agreement confidentiality) and I told him I was going the the Board of Realtors with just such an ethics complaint against him, did he remove my personal and work e mail and my real name.

I see his blog now has a hand full of "Yes Men" and few to no comments.
He did that to himself. HAHAHAHAHAHA

    Nuff Said.

  • Man, the guys at the "Hound" need to lighten up. Anyone that thinks that this is a real debate needs to get their head examined.

I mean, I like Greg's stuff, but I had to re-read that post to see if he was actually joking or not.... and when it was clear that he wasn't, the respect gauge plummeted a few notches.
