Blog Finder Series: Agent Applause Real Life Real Estate Marketing

agent applause

Agent Applause is a great new blog for people interested in real real estate marketing.    The blog shares true marketing techniques, both online and offline, to give you creative ideas.   If you have a real marketing experience, send it to them.

Here are some posts I liked:

Brand Consistency between Websites is an excellent post showing how one real estate agent has been reinforcing his brand across all social media channels– his blog, Twitter, Facebook page, Posterous, YouTube.  A great post about a great guy.

Twitter Sign Riders. Very clever addition of a Twitter handle to a For Sale sign.

Community Fan Page on Facebook.  Rather than creating a self-centered page, this professional created a fan page for her community.

My applause to Agent Applause (and Stacey Harmon, behind this blog launch).   Run over there for a look see.  Tell them I sent you.

Oh yeah, thanks to Inman Real Estate Connect New York City, #ICNY where I discovered this blog gem.

  • How refreshing to have site that celebrates the professionalism and innovation in the industry rather than the multitude of sites pointing to the places where the industry has gone wrong. Stacey's the perfect person to have launched it and I'm certain this will become a tremendous resource for those of us looking to create unique and powerful ways of marketing in our local areas. Nice job Stacey!
  • Joe - Thanks so much for the highlight and to your readers who have already begun to show their support for the site! I observed some great marketing examples at Inman and am excited to have a portal with wich to share them with the real estate community (stay tuned!). I'm also certain there are many unrecognized marketing gems out there and I look forward to finding them over time. I am hopeful we can all learn together and possible raise the bar on the level of real estate marketing in our industry.
  • Looks like a worthwhile endeavor and lots cheaper than half a dozen "coaching" / "networking" / "send me $475 for a two day conference" type groups. Thanks for the heads up. I RSS'd 'em, fanned them on FB and follow them on Twitter. Always up for an interesting marketing idea.
