Now for something completely different.

This Mothers’ Day, instead of taking mom to dinner downtown, try taking her over town at Dinner in the Sky.
Based in Brussels, Dinner in the Sky, is available in Europe to provide a unique dining experience. On a table suspended 164 feet in the air, 22 guests can enjoy a meal prepared & served by a chef and waiter, who come along for the ride. No word on use of a restroom. (And don’t drop your fork.)
If that’s not entertaining enough, hire a second crane to suspend a music band nearby.
This is one way to thank that really big client or host a unique marketing event.
For our Japanese readers, a video here.

I guess I am lucky that the young people who call me mom know that I am very unhappy once I am more than a foot off the ground. My husband is the lucky parent who got to take them on any amusement park rides that went up.
Man, why didn’t I read this sooner? I took my mom to Golden Corral and waited 40 minutes to be seated. Then had to fight for every scrap of so-called food that was left. Sometimes you’d get lucky, and a shrimp would roll off someone’s plate into the green beans, and you could grab it!
Shaun,
You might have to do that with the birds that are likely to stop buy for a taste
Yikes.. What happens if you drop your fork?
Yikes, you yell heads up and have to eat with your hands
Hey Christine
Now you know why the crane is parked outside your office. See you for lunch.
This looks Sky-rumptions.
good one!
