In the continuing series, Real Estate Porn, this edition spotlights Anshe Chung, Second Life real estate mogul. Known as the “Rockefeller of Second Life”, she was the first virtual millionaire avatar, earning $2 million in 30 months.
Despite her somewhat sordid past (who am I to pass judgment), she has risen to fame and fortune in real estate. She has been featured in business magazine such as Fortune and Red Herring. Business Week, who featured her on the cover in 2006, referred to her as a land baroness.
